About the ISO 50001 Internal Auditor Course
The ISO 50001 Internal Auditor Course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct internal (first-party) audits of an energy management system (EnMS) aligned with ISO 50001 within their own organisation, and to help prepare it for external certification. Delivered by seasoned experts in energy management and auditing through EAS, IAS's sister organisation, the course uses interactive activities, case studies, and practical examples, and leads to a course-completion certificate.
Course Content

- Energy planning โ the energy review, energy baseline (EnB), energy performance indicators (EnPIs), significant energy uses (SEUs), and energy objectives and targets (Clause 6).
- Support and Operation โ competence, operational controls, and design and procurement affecting energy performance (Clauses 7โ8).
- Performance evaluation โ monitoring and measurement of energy performance, internal audit, and management review (Clause 9).
